Sand Dunes Resort Accommodation Marcoola, Marcoola

We had an incredible stay at Sand Dunes in a spacious three-bedroom poolside villa that was perfect for our family. The villa's direct pool access made it a hit with the kids, and the heated pool was enjoyable. While the some areas could use a bit of modernisation, the overall experience was exceptional, especially for families. The nearby beach and local amenities added great convenience, though a few cleanliness issues detracted from an otherwise fantastic trip.

Our stay was enjoyable, as the location was ideally situated right by Mudjimba Beach, which made morning walks a delight. The poolside villa was spacious and provided ample room for our family, but I was a bit disappointed that there weren’t more dining options nearby. The heated pool and spa were fantastic amenities, yet I did wish for a more vibrant atmosphere around the complex given the price point. Overall, it was a great family vacation spot with some areas for improvement.

We had a wonderful family Christmas holiday in a spacious beach house with a private pool, which was perfect for the kids. The apartment was well-maintained, with a large TV and Netflix, although the small kitchen was a bit of a squeeze. While the location was fantastic, being close to the beach and local shops, the traffic noise from the road was occasionally bothersome. Sand Dunes Resort is an excellent choice for both relaxing and exploring the Sunshine Coast. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, and the pool facilities are fantastic. While the proximity to the airport may bring some aircraft noise, it didn't detract from our overall experience. The staff was welcoming, and the self-contained apartments made our stay convenient and enjoyable.
